In 1939 Basil Brown, under the direction of Mrs. Edith May Pretty discovered an undisturbed ship burial site that
provided a huge quantity of
items.

The site was at Sutton Hoo
 near Woodbridge, Suffolk, England
.

The site was created in the 7th century.
